Ladder is seeking an SecOps/AppSec Engineer to own application security across development lifecycles, with a focus on Clojure-based backend and JVM. You will balance vulnerability management with security operations, risk reviews, and compliance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You’ll work hands-on with Clojure/JVM, cloud infra (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker), and modern data/security tools, mentoring engineers and driving secure defaults across teams.

Competenze

• 4+ years of software engineering or cybersecurity experience.
• Strong CS, security, or related field foundation.
• Hands-on coding in Clojure and JVM environments.
• Experience with cloud security and incident response.

Mansioni

• Secure code through application security vulnerability management.
• Configure and monitor cloud security posture with SIEM/SOAR/CSP tools.
• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for architecture and APIs.
• Maintain identity access management and device compliance.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices.
