Job summary

Locomotivation is seeking a competent Apprenticeship Training Specialist to support Leisure apprenticeship programmes on a national basis. The role is home-based with work across employer locations, focusing on delivering a range of Leisure apprenticeships at Intermediate and Advanced levels.

You will plan and deliver programmes, support portfolios for assessment, and manage records while building relationships with employers and apprentices.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification (L3 AET, PTTLS).
• Demonstrate effective understanding of a range of teaching and learning methods.
• Strong IT systems and procedures competency.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in Leisure industry or related field.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with own vehicle for business use.
• English and maths at GCSE C or above.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices across Leisure programmes.
• Plan and deliver apprenticeship programmes to build knowledge and skills.
• Support portfolios and evidence for assessment, including Gateway and End Point Assessment.
• Involve in initial assessment, enrolment and induction of apprentices.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to apprentices to help them achieve.
• Maintain accurate records and administrative data to meet obligations.
• Deliver training online and face-to-face.
• Manage learner management system (Aptem) and weekly uploads.
• Record off-the-job training for all apprentices.
• Support English and maths development using BKSB.
• Report to Quality Team Leader on delivery and QA/audit.
