Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Apprenticeships & Training Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and administration of craft training and apprenticeship programs across the region. The role partners with instructors, workforce development teams, and field leadership to ensure programs run efficiently and learners have a positive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in training coordination, workforce development, education administration, human resources, operations support, or related fields preferred
• Experience supporting construction, skilled trades, apprenticeship, workforce development, or safety training programs preferred
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the delivery of training programs, certifications, onboarding, workforce development initiatives, and apprenticeship-related activities across the region.
• Manage training schedules, registrations, communications, logistics, and resources to ensure successful program execution.
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, compliance documentation, and participant data within LMS and workforce development systems.
• Track training participation, completion requirements, and workforce development metrics; generate reports and support audit and compliance activities as needed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, apprentices, instructors, and field leaders regarding training programs, schedules, and requirements.
• Partner with operations, workforce development, safety, HR, and field leadership teams to support workforce readiness, employee development, and organizational training goals.
• Support workforce outreach, apprenticeship recruitment, career pathway initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
• Assist with curriculum updates, training materials, program documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and participant experience.
• Support the implementation and administration of new training technologies, systems, and workforce development programs.
• Ensure training environments, materials, equipment, and resources are prepared, organized, and aligned with company safety and operational standards. Support implementation of new training technologies and workforce development initiatives
• Track and update individual apprentice compliance records with 3rd party organizations, e.g. RAPIDS, DOL, WECA, etc, where necessary
