Job summary

The Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead at Berkshire College of Technology oversees and develops its Electrical apprenticeship provision, leading a team and driving quality, employer engagement and learner success across the provision.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing apprenticeship provision within Further Education.
  • A recognised assessor qualification.
  • English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship quality assurance and compliance.
  • Experience leading staff and driving quality improvements.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for developing apprentices and supporting employer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the Electrical apprenticeship team.
  • Driving high-quality teaching, learning and assessment throughout the learner journey.
  • Coaching and supporting apprentices through reviews, assessments and End Point Assessment (AM2S).
  • Managing curriculum planning, standardisation, EQA and IQA activities.
  • Building strong relationships with employers to ensure programmes meet industry needs.
  • Monitoring learner progress, retention, achievement and employer satisfaction.
  • Leading on quality improvement initiatives including SARs and QIPs.
  • Supporting curriculum development and continuous improvement across the apprenticeship provision.
  • Ensuring compliance with awarding body and funding requirements.

Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead
Permanent | Berkshire | £45,000 - £48,300 per annum
A well-established, Ofsted-rated Good further education group in Berkshire is seeking an experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to oversee and develop its Electrical apprenticeship provision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong apprenticeship management experience who is ready to lead a team while driving quality, employer engagement and learner success across a growing provision. The Role

As the Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead, you will take responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the Electrical apprenticeship provision, ensuring outstanding outcomes for apprentices, employers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Electrical apprenticeship team.
  • Driving high-quality teaching, learning and assessment throughout the learner journey.

About You
