Job summary

Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is seeking an Applications Developer to design, develop and test enhancements for a SaaS pension system. The role will operate primarily in an Amazon Workspace environment with strong Java, Spring and SQL skills and collaboration across IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring, Jasper, PostgreSQL, REST API, GitHub, Eclipse and Jira is required.
• Primarily operates in an Amazon Workspace environment and Agile SCRUM is used to deliver iterations.
• Experience with pension or insurance systems (Vitech/Majesco) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations and enhancements for a cloud-based SaaS pension administration system.
• Maintain existing systems and write SQL scripts for reports and data changes.
• Engage in agile ceremonies and collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver solutions.
