Job summary

Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is seeking a Retirement Specialist to provide high-quality member services for Arizona’s public safety employees. The role involves assisting with online enrollment, answering inquiries, and providing frontline receptionist duties on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or public contact environment.
• Experience handling inquiries and providing information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Background check including criminal history and credit history required.

Responsibilities

• Explain pension plan provisions and procedures to members, boards, and employers.
• Assist members with online enrollment into Member Support System/Employer Support System.
• Troubleshoot member access to online systems and respond to inquiries about PSPRS, CORP, and EORP plans.
• Provide routine retirement counseling to members and employers.
• Answer health insurance questions related to the plans.
