Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a software engineer to join our IT team and contribute to the design, development, implementation, and support of moderately complex distributed or web-based information systems.

You will participate in coding, testing, and documentation, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help ensure system reliability in a remote-friendly environment with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• College coursework in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Experience with distributed and web-based systems development.
• Knowledge of COBOL II, J2EE, IMS DB/DB2/Oracle/SQL Server/Access.
• Experience with HTML web development and PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based and distributed apps.
• Contribute to project deliverables, coding, and technical documentation.
• Design system documentation such as data flows, screen designs, and run descriptions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment.
