Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, with deep expertise in the Appian low-code platform. This fully remote role is within the United States and supports VA Office of Connected Care.

You will drive strategy, roadmaps, and collaboration across engineering, data, QA, and operations, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment while maintaining KPIs and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience.
• 5+ years experience developing on the Appian platform.
• Certified Appian Lead Developer.
• Experience managing a product or suite from requirements through testing and release.
• Experience building products or complex feature sets from ground up.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s).
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions.
• Transform high-level vision into actionable plans.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with stakeholder input.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations teams.
• Lead or support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Maintain cross-functional communication to remove blockers and track progress.
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage and define KPIs.
• Foster agile practices using Scrum Master experience.
• Coordinate discovery and clear requirements with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Manage multiple projects with planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings with clear objectives.
• Advise clients on solution options to meet objectives.
• Work with strategic delivery partners and vendors.
• Coordinate efforts across teams through frequent communication.
