Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, with Appian platform expertise, supporting federal clients. This is a fully remote role within the United States.

You will lead strategy, roadmaps, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, design, data, QA and operations, applying Scrum practices to deliver high‑quality solutions and measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience).
• 5+ years experience developing on the Appian platform.
• Certified Appian Lead Developer.
• Managing a product from requirements gathering through testing and production release.
• Helped build products or complex feature sets from the ground up.
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate with executive leadership.
• Strong in Agile Project Management methodologies and procedures.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Jira; bachelor’s and master’s plus certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s).
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions.
• Transform high-level vision into detailed action plans.
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations.
• Lead and/or support sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Ensure cross-functional communication to remove blockers.
• Partner with data teams to analyze usage and define KPIs.
• Foster agile best practices and drive execution discipline.
• Coordinate discovery and establish clear requirements for user needs.
• Manage multiple projects with planning, risk management, and reporting.
• Lead dynamic meetings with cross-functional teams and clear objectives.
• Advise clients on solution options to meet objectives.
• Work with strategic delivery partners and vendors.
• Coordinate efforts across numerous teams.
