Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee the full software development lifecycle for assigned products, with deep expertise in low-code/no-code platforms and Appian. This fully remote US-based role requires coordinating with engineering, data, QA, design, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will drive strategy, refine backlogs, and lead agile ceremonies while partnering with governance and stakeholders to align with customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years experience (or commensurate)
• 5+ years experience developing on the Appian platform
• Certified Appian Lead Developer
• Experience managing products from requirements through testing and production release
• Experience building products or complex features from ground up and delivering on goals
• Excellent presentation skills and executive communication
• Strong in Agile Project Management methodologies and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Jira

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle for assigned product(s)
• Facilitate strategy and prioritization discussions
• Translate high-level vision into actionable plans
• Build and maintain the product roadmap with stakeholder input
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data, QA and operations teams
• Lead and/or support agile ceremonies with development teams
• Ensure cross-functional communication to remove blockers and track progress
• Analyze product usage with data teams and define KPIs
• Foster agile best practices and drive team velocity
• Coordinate discovery and requirements with experts and teams
• Oversee multiple projects including planning, risk mgmt and reporting
• Lead dynamic meetings with cross-functional teams
• Advise clients on solution options to achieve objectives
• Work with strategic delivery partners and vendors
• Coordinate efforts across teams through communication
