Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver mission-critical applications on the Appian platform. The role requires deep Appian knowledge, strong SQL skills, and experience in Agile/SAFe environments. A Public Trust clearance is required for this federal contract, and U.S.

Citizenship is mandatory. The position is remote, offering exposure to enterprise-grade solutions and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required due to Federal contract.
Public Trust security clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of professional experience.
3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x+).
Proficiency in SQL, Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Familiarity with AI/ML/LLM integration and Appian AI.
