Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Appian platform. The ideal candidate has deep Appian expertise, strong SQL skills, and thrives in Agile and SAFe environments.

This is a remote position requiring ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Responsibilities include building complex applications with Appian components, designing secure RESTful integrations, performing SQL data modeling, troubleshooting performance, and

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of professional experience.
3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
Proficiency in SQL, Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

Develop and configure enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
AI & Automation: familiarity with AI technologies and Appian AI.
