Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Appian Developer to design, develop and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Appian platform, including SAIL, Process Models, Records and Web APIs. The role demands strong SQL skills and proven ability to work within Agile and SAFe environments.

This remote position requires U.S. Citizenship, the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with Appian AI and AI/Automation concepts.
