Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Appian platform. Strong SQL, secure integrations, and performance optimization are key in an Agile/SAFe environment.

This remote role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and prior Federal contract experience is a plus. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required due to Federal contract.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of professional experience; 3+ years hands-on Appian development (v17.x+).

Responsibilities

Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
AI & Automation: An understanding/exposure to AI technologies, AI/ML/LLM integration, generative AI solutions. Familiarity with Appian AI.
