Maximus is seeking an Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications on the Appian platform. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills and thrives in Agile and SAFe environments, with a track record in secure integrations and performance optimization.

The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Federal contracting experience and a relevant degree are essential, with 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x+).

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x+).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and Appian AI for automation.
