Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications in a remote capacity. You will leverage Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs), and work within Agile and SAFe environments.

The role requires 5 years of professional experience, 3+ years Appian development, SQL proficiency, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. A Bachelor's degree and federal contract awareness are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
• Proficiency in SQL and Relational Databases.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments and Federal contract awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure complex enterprise apps using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
• Design secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
• Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian apps for performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with AI/automation concepts and Appian AI is a plus.
