Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to join our team as we grow and deliver complex Appian solutions for federal clients. You will partner with Appian product teams and customers to gather requirements for Appian applications and translate them into actionable user stories and designs.

You will collaborate with Product Dev Managers and Systems Architects to shape the product roadmap, define MVPs, and ensure alignment with strategic goals while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in performing business analysis and refining requirements for information systems.
• Strong communication skills at all levels of an organization.
• Detail oriented with experience working on several products simultaneously.
• Experience with use cases, Agile user stories, and process modeling.
• This position is remote with ability to work east coast hours as needed.
• US citizenship required for federal clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Dev Managers in defining MVPs and release plans.
• Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, process analysis, and design BPM applications.
• Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders to collect and document requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define new/enhanced product requirements.
• Assist in prioritizing features in the product roadmap with architects.
• Deliver user engagement analytics to characterize users and scenarios.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria for developers/QA.
