Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to partner with product teams and potentially engage customers to capture requirements for Appian applications. The role involves MVP definitions, requirement discovery, data modeling, and collaboration with architects to shape product functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements refinement.
• Strong written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Detail oriented with multi-project delivery experience.
• Experience with use cases, Agile user stories, and process modeling.
• Remote work with East Coast hours if needed.
• US citizenship required for federal security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Dev Managers in defining MVPs and release plans.
• Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, and BPM process design.
• Lead discovery workshops with customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects to define product requirements and roadmap.
• Prepare estimates for the product backlog user stories.
• Review and accept user stories implemented by the team.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
• Use Jira, Github, and other tools for project management.
