Job summary

Novanta Inc. is seeking a dynamic Application Engineer (Spanish/English bilingual) to support the Tool Changer and Material Removal product lines within ATI Industrial Automation.

This remote role is based in Texas and serves customers across the US and Mexico, combining technical expertise with frontline sales support. You will demo products, collaborate with sales, troubleshoot issues, and develop applications using robotics, SolidWorks, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, controls, or related engineering discipline.
• Spanish and English fluency.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the automation industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with robotics programming is desirable.
• Experience with SolidWorks and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide product technical support to customers in the pre-sale and post-sale process.
• Accompany sales personnel on customer visits to identify new opportunities and assist in closing sales by providing technical expertise and product knowledge.
• Conduct product demonstrations using Robots and presentations to showcase product capabilities at tradeshows, conferences, and customer sites.
• Develop novel applications for ATI products using Robots and publish videos and application notes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to customers in a timely fashion.
• Use Salesforce for case management and customer support.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive product and process innovation.
