Job summary

Novanta is seeking an Application Engineer (Remote - TX) to support ATI Industrial Automation products across the US and Mexico. This role requires a mechanical/controls engineering background, fluency in Spanish and English, and 3–5 years in engineering, preferably automations.

You will work with robotics, demonstrate solutions, and engage with customers remotely and on-site as needed. Responsibilities include pre-/post-sale technical support, customer visits, product demonstrations at events,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, controls, or related engineering discipline.
3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in automation.
Experience with robot programming and factory automation is desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers in pre-sale and post-sale stages.
Attend customer visits with sales to identify opportunities and support closures.
Demonstrate product capabilities via robot demonstrations at events and customer sites.
Develop applications for ATI products using robots and publish videos/app notes.
Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions to customers.
Use Salesforce for case management and customer support.
Participate in continuous improvement to drive product/process innovation.
