Job summary

BluePrint Automation Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer (LAM) to join our team remotely in the United States. The role focuses on preparing proposals, coordinating with sales and engineering, and supporting customers across LATAM and Mexico.

Travel up to 15% is expected and the position requires Spanish and English fluency with Portuguese a plus. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in electrical or mechanical design, strong CAD skills, and experience with ABB/Fanuc robotics and AB

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, mechanical design, or related discipline.
• Spoken and written fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Portuguese is preferred.
• AutoCAD proficiency is required.
• Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots is preferred.
• Experience with AB control platforms is preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and technical documents for prospective clients, including design, pricing, and customer specifications.
• Maintain CRM on a daily basis.
• Consult with engineering for non-standard applications.
• Communicate with customers internally and externally, and with suppliers.
• Optimize product lines for specific technologies considering cost and technical aspects; research new technologies.
• Review customer specifications and represent BPA at relevant industry trade shows.
• Travel up to 15% may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
