Job summary

somewhere is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to manage day-to-day AP operations in a remote setting. The role requires ownership of invoice processing, 3-way matching in NetSuite, and coordination with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Experience with NetSuite ERP is required, and familiarity with Tipalti or similar AP automation is strongly preferred. The candidate will handle vendor communications, payment runs, and month-end close activities in a fast-growing manufacturing

• Experience with NetSuite ERP is required.
• Experience with Tipalti or similar AP automation platforms is strongly preferred.
• Strong ownership of AP processes and adherence to financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the Accounts Payable function and ensure AP tasks, inquiries, and outstanding items are followed through to completion.
• Review, code, and process vendor bills, credit memos, and other payable transactions accurately and on time.
• Perform 3-way matching of Purchase Orders, Item Receipts, and Vendor Bills in NetSuite and investigate discrepancies before processing.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Receiving, Accounting, and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain AP aging and proactively follow up on overdue items.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate missing invoices or credits.
• Assist with payment scheduling and preparation of payment runs.
• Monitor payments and investigate rejected or unusual transactions.
• Ensure AP activity is recorded in NetSuite and supporting documentation is maintained.
