Job summary

Tool Country, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Denver finance team. This role handles vendor invoices, credits, PO matching, vendor statements, and payment readiness using NetSuite and Microsoft 365.

You will research discrepancies, prepare import files, maintain controls, and collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and finance to keep AP moving. The position emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and strong vendor communications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Experience with PO-based AP and vendor statement reconciliation.
• Strong command of English and vendor service skills.
• Oracle NetSuite experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint; exposure to Power Automate or AI-assisted accounting workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and credits accurately and on time.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving records.
• Code expenses and obtain necessary approvals before posting.
• Research discrepancies and route exceptions to internal partners.
• Prepare NetSuite import files and correct rejects.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment timing.
• Maintain audit trails and document controls.
• Collaborate across purchasing, receiving, and finance to resolve AP issues.
• Support AI-assisted workflows and process improvements.
