Job summary

Kforce is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate in Arlington, VA for a high-volume AP function within a fast-paced, fully remote environment. You will process a large volume of invoices, validate data in a large ERP system, and perform two- or three-way matching with POs and receipts.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Enter, review, and validate invoice data within ERP
• Perform two-way or three-way matching of invoices, POs, and receipts
• Manage AP inbox and vendor communications, addressing inquiries
• Maintain records for audit and compliance
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with payment processing including ACH, wires, and checks
• Support month-end close activities related to AP
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
• Identify and support AP process improvement initiatives
