Job summary

Praxt Talent LLC. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a 5-person remote AP team in the U.S. The role includes ownership of the full AP cycle, coaching team members, and guiding the rollout of a new procure-to-pay platform over the next year.

You will manage invoice intake, coding, approvals, payments, and vendor communications, while ensuring timely, accurate payments and strong controls. Remote leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years directly managing an AP team.
• Strong command of end-to-end AP, payment processing, and banking controls.
• Experience leading remote or distributed team members.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP and a procure-to-pay tool; NetSuite and Coupa are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP professionals across U.S. and international locations, including hiring when seats open
• Own the full AP cycle: invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment runs, and vendor communication
• Keep queues current and make sure vendors are paid accurately and on time
• Serve as first-level approver and maintain strong payment and banking controls
• Find bottlenecks and lead process improvements that save the team real hours
• Partner with accounting leadership on the selection and rollout of a new procure-to-pay system
• Step in hands-on to cover vacations or open seats when needed
