Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, general ledger coding, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing and payment disbursements.
• Supervise and mentor AP team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to maintain strong working relationships.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including AP accruals.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the AP department.
