Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is seeking an AP Dispute Analyst to join their accounting team. This fully remote position requires residence in MA, CT, or RI and involves researching vendor disputes, resolving discrepancies, and pursuing credits to recover funds.

Responsibilities include validating documents, coordinating with vendors, and using automation to improve processes. The role offers a collaborative team, strong work-life balance, and growth in a newly created function.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or vendor management.
• Strong understanding of invoices, purchase orders, and three-way matching.
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and internal partners.
• Ability to manage multiple disputes through to resolution.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve vendor disputes and inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate short shipments, quantity discrepancies, and incorrect pricing.
• Validate quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and three-way match details.
• Identify root causes and determine the appropriate resolution.
• Compile supporting documentation and evidence for vendor disputes.
• Work with vendors to pursue credits and recover funds owed.
• Track disputes from identification through final resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on open items.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce discrepancies.
• Leverage automation and technology to create efficiencies in the dispute process.
