JC Davis Ventures, LLC dba JC Davis Power is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to manage the full payables cycle from invoice intake through month-end close. You will code invoices, match to POs, and ensure accurate vendor payables for a busy jobsite operations business.

You’ll reconcile vendor statements, run payments, and support audits while maintaining data quality and confidentiality. A remote-capable candidate with 5+ years of AP experience is preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including full cycle, high volume processing.
• Hands on experience with purchase order based invoicing and three-way match.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and the AP subledger to the general ledger.
• Working knowledge of an ERP or accounting system such as NetSuite, or similar, plus comfort learning new systems.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciling large data sets.
• Familiarity with W-9 collection and 1099 reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work.
• Ownership mentality. You work a problem to a finish and bring solutions, not just questions.
• Clear, professional communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial and vendor information.
• Self directed and dependable in a remote setting, with consistent availability during business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Process the payables volume: review, code, and enter high volumes of vendor invoices; match to POs and receiving docs.
• Own job and GL coding accuracy: code invoices to correct accounts, jobs, and cost categories.
• Run payments: prepare and process check, ACH, and card payments on schedule.
• Reconcile vendor accounts: research aged items and resolve disputes with vendors.
• Support month-end close: prepare AP accruals and reconcile subledger to GL.
• Report on payables and spend: aging, cash needs, vendor spend; flag trends.
• Improve the process: identify bottlenecks and implement automation/workflow improvements.
• Keep vendor data clean: manage vendor master records, W-9s, 1099s.
• Support audits and internal controls: provide docs for reviews and audits.
• Partner with field/ops: chase missing approvals and PO details to avoid delays.
• Reconciling credit card accounts: manage 50+ cards, $100K+ monthly volume; resolve discrepancies.
