Job summary

Prudential's Individual Retirement business seeks a results-oriented External Wholesaler to grow fixed and variable annuity sales across Bank/Wire channels in Greater New York City. This fully virtual role requires residence in the territory and travel about 80% of the time, reporting to a Divisional Sales Manager to drive territory strategies and advisor engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong financial services sales experience.
• Experience selling annuities or retirement income through advisor channels.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations, plus state licenses as defined by the territory.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow fixed and variable annuity production across the Bank/Wire channel.
• Build, deepen and sustain relationships with new and existing financial advisors and key distribution partners.
• Deliver compelling product, market and retirement-income presentations that connect Prudential solutions to advisor and client needs.
• Provide point-of-sale support that helps advisors position annuity solutions within holistic retirement planning conversations.
• Use knowledge of financial markets, competitive dynamics, and advisor needs to identify opportunities and adapt sales priorities.
• Partner closely with an aligned Internal Wholesaler to execute territory strategies, identify opportunities, and deepen advisor engagement.
• Manage a high-travel regional schedule while maintaining consistent follow-through, communication, and sales discipline.
