Job summary

Prudential Financial is seeking an External Wholesaler to grow fixed and variable annuity sales across Bank/Wire and Edward Jones channels in multiple western states. The role emphasizes strategic territory development, advisory relationships, and expert retirement-income solutions.

You will deliver compelling presentations, provide point-of-sale support, and partner with an Internal Wholesaler to execute territory plans.

Qualifications

• Strong financial services sales experience.
• Experience selling annuities or retirement income through advisor channels.
• Experience working with financial advisors, registered representatives, or wealth management professionals.
• Proven ability to develop territory business plans, execute sales strategies, and drive production results.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations, plus required state licenses.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills; willingness to travel ~80%.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow fixed and variable annuity production across Bank/Wire and Edward Jones channels.
• Build, deepen and sustain relationships with financial advisors and distribution partners.
• Deliver product, market and retirement-income presentations to connect solutions to advisor/client needs.
• Provide point-of-sale support to position annuity solutions in retirement planning conversations.
• Apply knowledge of markets, competition, and advisor needs to identify opportunities and adjust sales priorities.
• Collaborate with an Internal Wholesaler to execute territory strategies and deepen engagement.
• Manage a high-travel regional schedule with consistent follow-through and sales discipline.
