Job summary

Healthie in the United States is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the data team and scale analytics models behind core data products, turning complex healthcare data into tested, documented datasets relied on by internal teams and external customers.

You will own major sections of the data model and collaborate with engineering, product, and customer success to derive reporting and insights, while maintaining up-to-date documentation for Visualize and related platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics engineering or similar roles.
• Designing and extending dimensional data models (Kimball or similar).
• Experience with large-scale cloud data warehouses (1B+ rows).
• Production dbt code with version control and CI practices.
• Data tests and monitoring for reliable analytics systems.
• BI dashboards in Metabase or similar tools.
• Ability to plan work with tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
• Python or Ruby for data processing is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and healthcare data standards.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and extend analytics models for core data products.
• Own major sections of the data model and support stakeholders.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into data models and maintain docs.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and customer success teams.
• Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance in healthcare data.
