Job summary

AnewHealth is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to maintain complex data systems and deliver scalable data solutions for Pharmacy Benefit Management clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and optimize data workflows, and ensure compliant handling of healthcare data.

Responsibilities include improving SQL/ETL processes, mentoring teammates, and leveraging cloud databases and BI tools to drive analytics and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 4+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Proven experience with SQL Server toolset and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of ETL, data modeling, and OLAP concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in a mix of .NET/C#, Python, and scripting.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver data solutions for pharmacy benefit management clients.
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to refine data requirements.
• Maintain and optimize SQL/ETL processes, data models and reporting.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize database performance.
• Support .NET applications and related data submissions.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay current with trends in data engineering and cloud services.
