Job summary

DoiT is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Business Intelligence team. This remote role supports a global data platform from LATAM with working hours overlapping US time zones.

You'll own data platform engineering, build robust data models, and contribute to testing and observability. Collaborate with BI analysts and partners to deliver trusted datasets for dashboards and AI analytics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in analytics engineering or BI engineering.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Proficient with dbt projects and data transformation.
• Software engineering discipline with version control and testing.
• Experience with data governance and RBAC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform's engineering and backlogs; manage data sources and CI/CD.
• Build, test, and maintain data models and pipelines powering dashboards and reports.
• Manage data infrastructure as code using Terraform and cloud resources.
• Own data access governance and expand RBAC for new domains.
• Improve platform reliability with tests, observability, and alerts.
• Support orchestration with Airflow and Cloud Composer; monitor schedules.
• Develop Python-based connectors for SaaS data sources with tests.
• Collaborate with BI analysts to shape trustworthy datasets and standards.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate coding and reduce manual work.
