Job summary

Optimize IS is hiring a remote Airtable Integration Engineer to own the integration layer on client projects, connecting Airtable to other platforms using RESTful APIs, middleware, and custom scripts. You will work with consultants and architects to scope, build, and maintain reliable integrations end to end.

This role offers remote work with occasional in-person meetings, requiring clear communication with a distributed team and clients to ensure solutions align with project goals.

Qualifications

• Airtable Experience: 1–2 years with Airtable and Airtable API.
• API Expertise: design and consume RESTful APIs with auth & pagination.
• Integration Tooling: proficiency with iPaaS platforms (Zapier/Make/n8n).
• Security: knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, TLS for data in transit.
• Data Formats: handle JSON and XML payloads.
• Communication: strong client and remote-team collaboration.
• Independent Work: able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Integration Development: build/maintain Airtable integrations to external platforms.
• API Engineering: design and troubleshoot RESTful APIs; handle payloads.
• Automation & iPaaS: create workflows with Zapier, Make, and n8n.
• Security Implementation: implement auth protocols and protect data in transit.
• Reliability & QA: implement error handling, monitoring, and logging.
• Collaboration: coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients.
