Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Remote AI Trainer for Data Science to design realistic tasks, evaluate outputs from frontier models, and grade analyses with clear written reasoning. This fully remote role pays hourly and supports flexible scheduling.

Requirements include 2+ years in applied data science, Python and/or SQL, a quantitative degree, native English writing, and the ability to work independently from written instructions. Remote work eligibility within the US, Canada, or the UK is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of applied data science experience preferred.
• Hands-on, individual-contributor experience.
• Strong English writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic data science tasks from your experience, including prompts, datasets and notebooks.
• Run tasks through frontier AI models and evaluate analyses, code, and write-ups.
• Compare model outputs, document which performed better, and note shortcomings.
• Write detailed rubrics and tests with clear pass/fail criteria.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence (leakage, confounding, misapplied tests).
• Review and refine tasks built by other experts.
