Job summary

Truist in Raleigh, NC, seeks a skilled professional to lead the AI Risk Oversight (AIRO) program and evolve Information Risk Oversight reporting capabilities through AI-enabled solutions. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver scalable risk reporting that informs executive decision-making across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, Data, Business and/or Finance.
• Three plus years of banking, technology, operations, risk management and/or regulatory agencies.
• Three plus years of data management, governance, analytics, testing and/or risk management experience.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of a future-state Information Risk Oversight reporting ecosystem.
• Develop and execute a reporting transformation strategy leveraging AI-enabled capabilities, automation, analytics, and technologies.
• Drives successful execution of the AIRO Coverage and Operating Model including risk advisory and independent risk assessment responsibilities.
• Contributes to the execution and delivery of the EDRO strategic plan and supporting tactical plans/roadmaps.
• Ensures adherence to laws, rules, regulations, internal policies, standards, and procedures.
• Drives issues management and remediation in alignment with the EIM Program.
• Produce, enhance, and deliver executive reporting, metrics, dashboards, and insights for risk governance.
• Promotes a strong Truist risk culture and proactive risk management across the enterprise.
• Performs effective challenge on AI-related processes for validation.
• Provides risk advisory to strengthen AI risk controls.
