Job summary

Storyteller seeks a hands-on operator to own a major sports client’s product rollout and the accompanying AI-enabled services. You’ll configure, automate, test, and run the solution after launch with no handoff.

You won’t write core product code, but you’ll master APIs, SDKs and configuration to resolve issues directly with the client. You’ll reproduce issues, collaborate with engineers, and decide what to fix.

Qualifications

• You’ve built something with AI that’s in real use: an automation, an agentic step in a pipeline, or a tool people rely on.
• You’ve taken a client-facing product or integration from brief to live, and kept running it after launch.
• You started somewhere technical and grew into owning client or product outcomes.
• You’re comfortable with APIs, SDKs, configuration and data.
• You’ve worked in fast-moving startups or agencies.
• You make good calls with incomplete information and don’t wait to be told to progress.
• You communicate clearly with clients and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Take client products and integrations from a messy brief to live (configuration, onboarding, testing, rollout) and keep owning them afterwards.
• Build and run AI-powered automations, tools and workflows that speed up delivery and improve client products.
• Keep AI services reliable after launch: know inputs/outputs, monitor results, catch issues early.
• Reproduce issues by checking config and data, and provide Engineering with precise problems.
• Decide what’s worth fixing and work with engineers to ship it.
• Keep clients updated on progress and turn learnings into product changes.
• Direct one or two junior teammates and leave tools behind for future cycles.
