Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking an Engineering Manager for an internal AI platform team in a fast-growing ad-tech setting. You will onboard internal APIs, UIs, and knowledge into the external AI platform while owning the evaluations pipeline and mentoring senior full-stack engineers.

You’ll partner with product management to surface new AI primitives and patterns, drive platform-scale initiatives, and hire top talent.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience leading full-stack teams.
• At least 6 years of software development experience in web technologies.
• Proven track record delivering results and leading high-impact teams.
• In-depth experience with TypeScript, Python, and AI-native engineering practices.
• Experience with React.js and LLMs.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, system design, cloud computing.
• Passion for building a positive engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead an internal AI platform team that onboards internal APIs, UI, and knowledge at platform scale into the external AI platform.
• Work with product management to understand feature surface areas, evangelize AI UX patterns, and surface production feedback.
• Own the evaluations pipeline and platform used by all feature teams.
• Hire, mentor, and cultivate a high-performance team of full-stack engineers across seniority levels, executing against roadmap with agile practices.
• Promote software development best practices, conduct code reviews, and architect scalable web APIs, libraries, and backend systems.
• Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency against company objectives, contributing code where needed.
• Conduct interviews to attract and identify high-performing engineering candidates.
