Genius AI in New York City is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams and set the technical direction for a rapidly expanding platform. You will align engineering decisions with business outcomes and drive high-impact initiatives across the organization.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and operate in a hybrid in-office schedule. You’ll mentor engineers, shape the domain’s future, and partner with recruiting to attract top talent.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with leadership experience in high-growth tech.
• Experience integrating AI tooling into engineering workflows.
• Strong technical judgment and architectural trade-off skills.
• Customer-focused mindset connecting engineering to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own execution across multiple teams and drive multi-team initiatives to completion.
• Embed AI tooling into engineering workflows to accelerate development and quality.
• Partner with product and design to own 0-to-1 initiatives from inception to launch.
• Shape the technical vision for the domain and anticipate platform needs.
• Develop high-potential ICs toward future leadership roles.
• Collaborate with recruiting to attract and retain top engineers.
