Job summary

Braintrust is seeking a senior full-stack engineer who uses AI coding assistants as a core part of building production-quality software. You will ship features end to end across the stack, from data to UIs, and you will work on AI-powered capabilities such as chat, reporting, and agentic workflows.

You will collaborate across platforms to ensure security, reliability, and client-ready designs. The role emphasizes ownership and fast iteration with AI tools, supported by a strong modern web stack

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 1+ year building production software with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code.
• Strong across a modern web stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js or Python, and SQL.
• Experience shipping production code with AI coding assistants and maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features from database schemas and APIs through to front-end.
• Apply AI coding assistants in day-to-day development with guardrails for security and maintainability.
• Build AI-powered features including chat, reporting, and agentic workflows with reliable evaluation.
