Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a remote Model Risk Advisor to promote governance, adopt AI policy standards, and improve governance processes across the enterprise. You will collaborate to maintain model inventories, assess risk, and report AI governance performance.

You will engage with the AI community, support model validation, and participate in governance oversight and risk assessments while driving improvements in controls and documentation across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Model risk management practices, risk, and audit.
• Degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• 4+ years in AI Model governance or Model Risk Management, or Audit; degree substitution allowed.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote AI governance policies and responsible practices.
• Maintain inventory of AI/GenAI models including ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk by complexity, regulatory needs, and business impact.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance; flag issues.
• Support validation and testing activities; document findings and recommendations.
• Participate in AI governance oversight activities, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop reports and executive insights on governance and control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Risk, auditors, and external partners on governance docs.
