Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Model Risk Advisor - Remote to promote AI governance, maintain model inventories, and drive compliance across governance programs. The role partners with risk, internal teams, and external parties to ensure robust controls and ongoing improvements in AI governance.

The candidate will monitor model performance, support validation efforts, and participate in governance reviews, audits, and risk assessments while navigating a remote-first culture and evolving

Qualifications

• Experience in AI governance, model risk management or related audits.
• Ability to communicate complex AI governance topics clearly to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with compliance monitoring and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement AI governance policies, standards and controls.
• Maintain inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership and risk ratings.
• Monitor KRIs and policy compliance; escalate issues as needed.
• Support model validation and governance oversight activities.
