Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor to promote AI governance, maintain the policies framework, and drive compliance across the enterprise. You will ensure governance for statistical, machine learning, AI, and GenAI models, including ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.

In a remote-first environment, you will monitor model risk, support validation and testing, collaborate with risk, auditors, and suppliers, and develop executive-level insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or related field.
• Experience in AI Model governance or Audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness of AI governance policies and practices across the enterprise.
• Maintain inventory of models with ownership, risk ratings, and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity and regulatory requirements.
• Support Model Risk Management frameworks, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation and testing activities with defined scope and findings.
• Participate in AI Model Governance oversight activities and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain governance documentation.
• Monitor evolving regulatory expectations and update governance practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AI governance processes.
