Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented evaluators to review AI-generated media from a remote, flexible schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing to help improve AI systems.

The role emphasizes precise observations, clear communication, and the ability to judge how well outputs follow prompts. Candidates from multiple regions are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful listening.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; not mandatory.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining choices clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise English explanation of what was seen or heard.
