Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from anywhere in the world, including the United States. You’ll hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all on your own schedule.

This is a remote, freelance role paid by the hour, with weekly payments. Expect flexible hours, access to leading LLMs, and the chance to help shape AI systems by providing precise feedback.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations in English with AI voice models and rate their naturalness.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows prompts better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatch.
• Write explanations in English pointing to observed issues.
