Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize governance processes for safe, scalable AI adoption. You will collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology teams to implement end-to-end governance across use cases, controls, and attestations.

The role emphasizes translating governance requirements into actionable processes and leading organizational adoption.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance and governance operating models.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AICT or Integrated Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestations, residual risk, and exception processes.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and regulations (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act).
• Relevant certifications (AIGP or ServiceNow Risk & Compliance) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle, from use-case intake and risk assessment through approval, monitoring, and retirement.
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation, residual-risk evaluation, and exception management.
• Establish governance roles, responsibilities, and an operating model that connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Set clear managed-state criteria that define when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant.
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes and guiding stakeholders through rollout.
