Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize governance processes for responsible AI adoption at scale. You will work with client risk, compliance, and technology leaders and the AI Control Tower delivery teams.

The role requires senior AI governance experience, practical AICT/IRM skills, and the ability to translate governance into actionable processes across business and technology stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance and operating models.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) or IRM.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls and exception processes.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle from intake to retirement.
• Define AI risk assessment methodology, attestation, residual risk, and exceptions.
• Establish governance roles and an operating model linking business, risk, legal and tech.
• Set clear criteria for when AI use cases are fully governed and compliant.
• Translate governance requirements into executable processes and drive adoption.
