Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize processes that enable safe, scalable AI adoption. You will work with the ServiceNow AI Control Tower and risk teams to define governance workflows from use-case intake to retirement.

You will establish roles, running models, and criteria for when a use case is governed, and you will translate requirements into actionable processes, guiding stakeholders through rollout across client

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance, including designing and implementing governance operating models.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestation, residual risk, and exception processes.
• Proven ability to translate governance requirements into practical, executable processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle, from use-case intake and risk assessment through approval, monitoring, and retirement.
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation, residual-risk evaluation, and exception management.
• Establish governance roles, responsibilities, and an operating model that connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders.
• Set clear managed-state criteria that define when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant.
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes and guiding stakeholders through rollout.
