Burtch Works seeks an AI Engineering Lead to design, build, and deploy next-generation AI and analytics solutions for clients. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, ML engineering, and client delivery, translating analytical concepts into scalable production-ready applications.

The ideal candidate is a builder who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, communicates clearly with clients, and leverages modern technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software or AI engineering, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong SQL, Python and cloud analytics skills.
• Production experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications and ML/analytics methodologies.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-enabled analytics applications utilizing modern cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, semantic layers, and data products.
• Develop machine learning, optimization, and decision-support solutions for client engagements.
• Work within Databricks and Snowflake environments to deliver production-ready apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical outputs into actionable recommendations.
• Apply prompt engineering and LLM workflows to accelerate value for clients.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact client solutions.
