Job summary

Burtch Works seeks an exceptional technology executive to define and build the next generation of an enterprise data platform. This is a hands-on leadership role guiding data strategy, architecture, and large-scale systems for Fortune 500-level clients in a remote US setting.

You will lead an engineering organization, shape data products, and enable rapid onboarding of customers while driving platform excellence and responsible governance at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software and data engineering leadership experience across enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep engineering strength in databases, distributed systems, streaming architectures and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define the data platform vision and long-term evolution across ingestion, storage, streaming, and APIs.
• Lead an engineering organization, recruit and scale teams, and maintain high technical standards.
• Collaborate with executives and enterprise clients to deliver reusable data products and AI-native integrations.
• Champion AI-native data integration and provide architecture oversight across the platform.
